About the Author
Kären Matison Hess, Ph.D. (d. 2010), was an instructor at Normandale Community College (Bloomington, Minnesota) who crafted a line of enduring, practical textbooks in the fields of law enforcement and criminal justice.
Henry M. Wrobleski, LL.B., is a well-known author, lecturer and consultant with 30' years experience in law enforcement. He was coordinator of the Law Enforcement Program at Normandale Community College and Dean of Instruction for the Institute for Professional Development. Mr. Wrobleski is a graduate of the FBI Academy. He is also the co-author of the following Wadsworth texts: INTRODUCTION TO LAW ENFORCMENT AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE and PRIVATE SECURITY.

Really informative book on police and law enforcment!

This book is a really good book on police procedures, laws
and many other topics facing those in the Criminal Justice
system, mainly police officer cadets and students, this book
is also good for those that are already police officers and
want to brush up on their skills or knowledge rather, I have
the 2006 version of the book (The 4th Edition I think) and
I'm reading it b/c police operations and work have always
fascinated me (as well as other books, video games, TV shows
and movies on police and swat teams)
A must read for those interested as well!
Also, I'm reading this b/c I am interested in working
as an armed security guard and also a 911 operator possibly.

had no problem. book was sent right on time and i got it. price was right also. should have paid for faster shipping though, but that was my fault for waiting so long to order the book. anyways, the goy did good business. thank you, casey mitchell
