About the Author
Dennis Coon is a publishing phenomenon and one of the best-selling authors in the field of psychology. VERY UNHAPPY

We bought a text book for $111 from overstockbooks7 per ISBN code required for the course. When we went to sell the book back via Amazons repurchase plan they said it was not the right book (according to the ISBN number). We bought from one set of ISBN numbers and they repurchase from another set of ISBN numbers located right below the first set. Did the book work for the class? I have no idea and neither does my son. It was his first college class and was just trying to keep up.
I feel like I was RIPPED OFF. No. I was ripped off. Its a scam. Psychology: Modules for Active Learning (with Concept Modules with Note-Taking and Practice Exams Booklet)
So far there has been no reply from overstockbooks7 after repeated attempts to contact them. They provide no phone numbers only an form for contacting them. BAD NEWS!!! I can safely assume they are not going to take the time to explain this issue or (heaven forbid) repurchase the book.
My son starts a double major next Fall. I will NOT be buying any book from overstockbooks7 and I suggest that you be VERY CAREFUL when buying from these people. I am obviously not worth replying to so I am guessing they do not care what I think. Very poor customer service. Remember that when you buy from these used book sellers there is also no avenue via Amazon to complain either. Its a one way street. Bad deal for customers if they have a problem.

Great conversation style textbook and uses SQ4R method!

I don't normally rate college textbooks or anything on Amazon for that matter but this book is actually quite good. The authors have a great clear conversationalist style when they are talking about specific subjects and they have a great sense of humor. There isn't one chapter that I don't go through without laughing. The book also breaks the chapters down into smaller modules which are a few pages long which makes the reading a lot more digestible. It follows the SQ4R method by turning all the headings into questions which is a great way to guide you when you're taking notes on your reading.
Overall, I think this book is very well written and I like it so much that I won't be selling it back. Really easy to read and it has a ton of good information for anyone and their daily life.
